FieldView: An interactive software tool for exploration of three-dimensional vector fields

Vector fields are one of the fundamental parts mathematics which key for modeling many physics phenomena such as electromagnetic or fluid and gas flows. Fields found in nature often exhibit complex structures can be difficult to analyze full detail without a graphical representation. In this paper we introduce FieldView — an application targeted at academics industry professionals wanting visualize vector using various rendering techniques. uses novel way evaluation field construction displayed elements directly on GPU is based recently introduced mesh shader graphics pipeline by NVIDIA. Research done development has practical form magnetic visualisation integrated data processing framework developed ALICE experiment CERN.
